SEPTEMBER 2 - MASHPEE, MA - Playing Ketchup

So as many of you know, we've been on tour for the past couple of weeks. Since operation and maintenance of my Twitter and Facebook pages have become so easy (thank you iPhone - will you marry me?), this blog has fallen by the wayside. I'm still eating tons of great stuff and having an absolute blast on the road, but since we're playing familiar places like Philly and New York (and nary a day off), it's hard to get inspired enough to write a full entry. I'm torn about what to do! I'm wondering if I should just save this space to keep an archive of my recipes, or if I should really try and take the time to keep it updated (although doing so with the fear of sounding redundant). I guess the best way to find out is to just ask you guys, my loyal readers...

So what do ya think? Where would you like to see this blog go?

Two ideas: make it one-stop shopping (have your twitter and facebook stuff show up here too, either in the sidebar or the main feed), or reserve this space for long-form entries.

ping.fm can help you do either of those things, by the way: you send stuff to ping and then it forwards it on to one or more services.

PS, just getting your recipes would be fine as well ;) Hope you're having a great tour!

Count me as a blog reader that doesn't follow facebook and twitter. I follow lots of blogs using Google's RSS reader, but I imagine that twitter and facebook would be just too much content to follow.

I do enjoy the music side of your blog most - dispatches from the front lines; the food is a bonus, too.

Sorry that the Harper's Ferry gig was cancelled - I'm missing the Trio tour this time around due to other plans. Have fun again at TCAN.

I'd love to see a kind of road diary when you're on tour, with music- and show-related stuff like your next (9/4) post. (That story was really interesting, and reminded me of the time I saw Mike Stern empty a room over the course of two hours.) I expected your mom to be doing something like this over on her blog, but evidently she is too weakened by her starvation diet to keep up....
